Thank you for visiting my website!  I hope you enjoy the paintings.  My inspiration comes from people and animal relationships, experiences, and being surrounded by the constant and changing beauty in our every days.  In particular, being a mother has taught me to be sensitive, intuitive and patient, all of which have helped enrich my painting experience.  And, regular training is fine tuning my skills.

This plein air painting, done at the Bruce Vento Nature Preserve in St. Paul, MN, reminds me of the feeling of being a mother.  Maybe the feeling is inspired by the colors or just how I was feeling that day with the gentle humid breezes, like a mother affectionately touching the soft cheek of her child.
